O.S. Energy is a trusted provider of offshore support vessels and specialised services for the offshore industry. Founded in 2002 as a family-owned company in Hamburg, we are headquartered in Glückstadt, Germany, with additional offices in Flensburg (Germany), Esbjerg (Denmark), and Newcastle (UK). Over the past 20 years, we have worked successfully on almost all offshore wind farms and projects across both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
Our Fleet and Services
We manage and operate a fleet of nine group-owned, specialised multi-purpose service vessels. Supported by our in-house marine and technical engineering team, we deliver customised and cost-efficient service solutions tailored to the specific demands of the offshore industry.
Ship management
O.S. Energy is certified to international standards including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISM, and MLC. We adhere to the latest QHSE standards, meeting the requirements of all major offshore wind farm operators and owners.

Our Background
From the beginning, our goal was to develop the most efficient vessel types to tackle the unique challenges of offshore wind projects. At the time, suitable vessels were scarce, so we started by sourcing and purchasing ships before eventually designing and building our own.
As the industry evolved, so did we. We expanded our portfolio to cover additional areas, guided by our philosophy: gain expertise, build experience, and then create purpose-built vessels for offshore wind. Our fleet now supports a wide range of tasks. Thanks to our in-house engineering team, we can quickly adapt and modify our vessels according to changing demands.
Every vessel is designed to deliver the precise, reliable, and robust support required for successful projects in both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
Where We Work: Not yet the Seven Seas, but We’re Getting There
We work in all German, British, and Danish offshore wind parks located in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. We have also been active in the Irish Sea and the Mediterranean, reflecting our dedication to supporting the growth of offshore wind across Europe.

Foundation
O.S. Energy is founded with the aim to support the development of offshore wind in Germany. We conduct first surveys with chartered vessels.
2016
2016
Vincent Nürnberg joins the firm. OSE obtains ISM/ MLC certification and Ship Management is added as a new service. Arne Tiselius, Hydrograf, and Sverdrupson are now fully owned and operated by OSE. OSE becomes a leader in providing specialised vessels for environmental surveys, EBS, and EIAs.

The "Søløven" joins the fleet. The Danish branch office in Esbjerg opens its doors.

The "Fortuna Kingfisher" joins the fleet, extending the companies capabilities: It now provides guard vessels, and vessels for geophysical/ geotechnical surveys as well as for subsea IMR.

The "Prince Madog" joins the fleet. Our UK branch opens in Newcastle.

The "Fortuna Crane" joins the fleet in 2022 and widens the company's service portfolio, adding buoy handling capabilities.
